During this 25-minute webinar, Ms. Frazier explains the construct of
the Kids Leisure
Time III study and identifies the broad range of activities that
keep kids engaged … and for how long.
The webinar highlights key differences between genders and age groups
as well as significant changes from 2007 (the time of the last study) to
2009. It also includes information from NPD's consumer tracking
services in the toys, video games, music and movies industries shows the
top properties, movie, and albums for four groups of kids segmented by
age and gender.
KLT III is the latest in a series of studies commissioned by TIA
and conducted by The NPD Group. This trended report – along with a
full set of cross tabs and new raw respondent verbatims from kids and
parents – gives marketers the low-down on what kids do when the
school day is done. Building upon the previous Kids Leisure Time
reports, the new trended data will help manufacturers, distributors,
licensors, and retailers understand how kids between the ages of two and
12 spend their leisure time during a typical week.
