Fall Toy Preview®, an event owned and managed by Toy Industry Association, Inc.™(TIA), is an appointment-only event at which toy manufacturers privately show their newest product lines to long-lead buyers for 2011 4th quarter sales.

Fall Toy Preview 2010 Dates and Show Hours

Tuesday - Thursday, October 5 - 7, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday, October 8, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Location

Fall Toy Preview 2010 will take place at the Dallas Market Center – World Trade Center in Dallas, Texas.

Registration

Attendees and exhibitors may register online at www.falltoypreview.org. Register early to receive your badge by mail. Buyer, Trade Guest and Exhibitor badges will be mailed 2-3 weeks before the show.

Qualified attendees may also register on-site at the Dallas Market Center:

Attendance Qualifications

Only those individuals who have documented their direct professional affiliation to the toy and youth entertainment industry and obtained a badge will be permitted access to the show.

First-time attendees must qualify in order to register to attend Fall Toy Preview. For a complete list of qualifying credentials, please refer to the To Attend section of this website.

Registration is complimentary for qualified buyers. Fees apply for Trade Guests (see To Attend  for details).

Fall Toy Preview is open to the trade only. Consumers, media and individuals under the age of 18 (including infants, child inventors, demonstrators and consultants) are not permitted. Please share these policies with your colleagues to avoid difficulty and embarrassment on show site.

Exhibitors must currently sell to mass market accounts and show products for 4th quarter sales in the following year.

Shuttle Bus

Complimentary shuttle bus service will be offered between the Dallas Market Center and most official Fall Toy Preview hotels. Please visit this site in the late summer for schedule and route information.

Public Parking

Over 14,000 free parking spaces, including ample spaces for handicapped parking, are available at the Dallas Market Center Campus.

Travel/Hotel Reservations

Travel Planners, the exclusive authorized travel services provider for Fall Toy Preview, offers the lowest room rates for show dates at official Fall Toy Preview hotels. You may also book air travel and rental cars through Travel Planners. Call them at 800-221-3531 or 212-532-1660, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-7:00 PM ET, or book online.

Airport Transfers

  • Shuttle – Discounted DMC-DFW shuttle tickets may be purchased for $15/person each way online or on-site at the Yellow Checker Kiosk at the front of the WTC.
  • Taxi – Flat rate of $40 for one person plus $2 per additional person from DFW to DMC; $32 plus $2 per additional person from DMC to DFW. The flat rate from Love Field airport to DMC is $15 for one person.
  • Town Car – $65 for two passengers plus $5 for each additional passenger between DFW and WTC or select hotels–contact Market Travel at 800-325-6587 or stop by the Ground Transportation desk at the front of the WTC during the show.

Accessibility/Wheelchair Rentals

Power scooters are available for rental from Scooters & More at the Dallas Market Center. To arrange for this service, attendees may contact the scooter company directly at 214-272-9363. Conveniences for physically-challenged attendees include automatic doors, elevators and escalators.

Networking

Opening Night Party

Trade Mart Grand Pavilion, 1st floor of the Trade Mart Building

All show participants are encouraged to attend. Food, drink, entertainment and networking cap a perfect opening day in Dallas. If you have not yet purchased tickets you may do so at registration in the lobby of the World Trade Center or at the door on the night of the event. Tickets are still only $25 and proceeds benefit the Toy Industry Foundation. Tickets purchased in advanced were included in your badge envelope.

Special Note: Each exhibiting company received two complimentary tickets to the party.  These tickets, along with any additional tickets purchased were mailed to your primary contact along with your company badges.

Educational Sessions

Safety and Legislative Update
Wednesday, October 6
9:00 AM – 10:30 AM
Location: Expo on 1

A complimentary session providing an update on pending state and federal legislation impacting the toy industry and an overview of TIA’s efforts to prevent passage of any harmful legislation or regulation; the latest, most up-to-date status of the implementation and development of the CPSIA and the opportunity to hear about efforts that are now underway to advance the harmonization of toy safety standards from around the world.
