ImageThrough The Toy Bank, our signature program, the Toy Industry Foundation (TIF) collects toys from industry manufacturers, distributors and retailers and distributes them to children in need around the world.  The Toy Bank collects donations year-round through seasonal drives as well as collections at TIA trade shows American International Toy Fair® and Fall Toy Preview®, and distributes them to children living in poverty, rescued from abuse, seeking treatment for chronic illnesses, and going through many other difficult situations.

Thanks to the toy industry’s overwhelming generosity, over $50 million in new toys have been donated for hundreds of children’s charities since the program began in 2003!

How can my company help?

The Toy Bank’s Summer Toy Drive is now underway and will continue until August 31st.

Please take the first step in donating any amount of new toys for kids in need by submitting our completed Product Donation Agreement.  If you are donating during Toy Fair or Fall Toy Preview, please visit the Toy Drives section of this site for an event-specific donation form.  Financial contributions in support of The Toy Bank are also greatly appreciated.

Why should I give to The Toy Bank?

By contributing toys, you will…

  • Bring play into the life of a child in need of joy and comfort
  • Expand your corporate philanthropy efforts
  • Participate in an industry-wide initiative
  • Clear your current inventory for next season
  • Qualify for a tax deduction for your charitable donation (consult your tax advisor)

In addition, all Toy Bank donors are listed on the TIF website, on The Toy Bank website, in TIF’s Annual Report, and in the Toy of the Year Awards (TOTY) Tribute Book.

All donated products must meet all applicable mandatory US consumer product safety laws including but not limited to the Consumer Product Safety Act, the Federal Hazardous Substances Act and the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 when applicable.
