Adopt the Pig! TIF Announces Year-Long Sponsorship Opportunity

September 25, 2013 | The Toy Bank – the Toy Industry Foundation’s (TIF) signature program – brings the magic of play into the lives of children in need all year long by collecting and distributing brand new toys for little ones facing the tough experiences of homelessness, foster care, living on a military base, cancer treatments, and much more.

TIF is currently seeking a corporate sponsor for The Toy Bank for 2014 through a tax-deductible donation of $10,000. This generous corporate gift will enable the Foundation to impact the lives of more than 1 MILLION children in need next year alone, by underwriting direct program costs and fueling the Foundation’s ability to obtain donated toys from companies across the toy industry.

“Over the past ten years, we have brought toys and play into the lives of more than 11 million underprivileged and at-risk children served by our signature Toy Bank program,” said Marisa Medina, Foundation Manager. “However, we are only able to do our work thanks to the generous support of the toy industry. While toy donations are critical, funding through projects such as Adopt-the-Pig help make it all possible by underwriting program costs.”

Recognition opportunities for the sponsoring company are available through various intra-industry print and online publications; at TIF’s booth at the 111th American International Toy Fair; on ToyIndustryFoundation.org; via Facebook and Twitter; and as an “official sponsor” in the 2014 Toy of the Year Awards Tribute Book.
