Fall Toy Preview Year-to-Date Buyer Registration is Strong
July 22, 2013 | The Toy Industry Association (TIA) has announced that year-to-date buyer registration for Fall Toy Preview is running well ahead of 2012, with 363 buyers from powerhouse global retail outlets currently registered to attend the Dallas, TX show.
Taking place October 1-3, 2013 at the Dallas Market Center, Fall Toy Preview’s closed-door appointments will give retailers and other trade guests a sneak-peek at the hottest toys and games for Holiday 2014 – more than a year before products hit store shelves.

TIA’s communications team will once again be on-site to scout brand new products. Information will be kept under embargo and used by TIA to attract media attention to new product lines at Toy Fair 2014. Preference for appointments is given to TIA members; meetings can be booked through Adrienne Appell (646.520.4853 or 646.207.3724 on-site).
As of press time, 224 exhibitors have registered to privately show their newest lines to influential buyers from many of the “Top 250 Global Retailers” such as Apple Inc., Amazon.com, AAFES, GameStop, Costco and Costco Canada, Kohl’s, Hallmark Cards, QVC, Macy’s, RadioShack, Toys“R”Us, Walmart, Best Buy, Bed, Bath & Beyond, 99 Cents Only Stores, Six Flags, Sears Holding Corp., and 7-11.
“Fall Toy Preview’s reputation as a global show continues to grow. To date, 25% of the show’s registered buyers hail from 16 countries, including Canada, Australia, Panama, Mexico and the UK,” said Joan Wyche, TIA director of buyer relations. Wyche noted that buyers from only 14 countries had signed on to attend by this time last year.
Business deals and trend-spotting will be met with plenty of networking opportunities, including an opening night party in support of the Toy Industry Foundation on Tuesday, October 1st. Tickets to the event may be purchased for $25 each; all exhibitors will receive two complimentary tickets. A Toy Industry Next Generation (TING) networking event for toy professionals under age 35 is also being planned.
Registration for Fall Toy Preview is currently open. Retailers and trade guests may register online; toy companies currently selling to mass market accounts who are able to show products for 4th quarter sales in 2014 are invited to contact the appropriate TIA Account Executive for information about exhibiting at the show:
