February 12, 2013 | As the official charity of the 110th American International Toy Fair, the Toy Industry Foundation (TIF) will once again cap off the show with a toy drive to benefit New York City-area children’s charities and TIF national partners that serve military families and foster children.

In celebration of The Toy Bank's 10th year of providing the joy of play to more than 10 million children in need, nearly 100 volunteers will help collect a projected $350,000 worth of toys, games and plush from participating exhibitors at the close of the show (4 p.m.) on Wednesday, February 13th.

“The Toy Bank Collection at Toy Fair is the Foundation’s largest and most significant one-day collection of the year,” explained Marisa Medina, Foundation manager. “Thanks to the generosity of the industry, we are hoping this year will be our largest collection yet!”

This year’s Toy Fair toy drive will serve NYC charities that provide support to inner-city kids, foster care and low income children, and victims of Hurricane Sandy. The carefully selected charities to benefit from this collection include The NY Foundling, The Legacy Center and Dream Center.

To donate toys at the close of the show, visit the TIF booth (#5201) or email for a one-page donation form.
