Less Than One Month Remains for TOTY Tribute Book Ad Fundraiser 

December 16, 2013 | The Toy Industry Foundation (TIF) is reminding industry stakeholders that less than one month remains to place an ad in the Tribute Book, the official take-home program for guests attending the Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards ceremony. The deadline for Tribute Book ad submissions is January 14, 2014.

Each Tribute Book ad directly supports the Foundation by funding its national partnerships that benefit kids on military bases and those living in foster care; the Play Connects grant program; and TIF’s signature program, The Toy Bank, which annually delivers more than two million new toys to children in need across the nation and around the world. As of press time, TIF had achieved half of its Tribute Book fundraising goal for 2014.

“The Tribute Book is our most critical fundraiser of the year. It is also a wonderful opportunity to honor inductees into the Toy Industry Hall of Fame and congratulate the TOTY 2014 finalists!” said Melissa Sorvillo, TIF coordinator. “We need support from the toy industry so that we can operate our programs that serve millions of children in need each year.”

The ad reservation form can be completed and submitted online or downloaded in .pdf format and mailed to TIF. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowable under the law; donors will be listed online, in the Tribute Book itself, and in TIF’s Annual Report.
