REMINDER: TOTY Tickets on Sale

January 14, 2013 | Toy industry professionals looking for an exciting way to kick-off Toy Fair week are reminded to reserve their tickets for the 13th Annual Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards. 

On the evening of Saturday, February 9th, guests attending the “OSCARS” of the toy industry at New York City’s renowned Plaza Hotel will salute the TOTY winners while also supporting the outstanding work of the Toy Industry Foundation.

The evening will additionally honor the accomplishments of Judith Ellis, Chair of the Toy Design Department at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and the late Russell Berrie, Founder of Russ Berrie Inc., as they are inducted into the esteemed Toy Industry Hall of Fame.

The event will include a cocktail and dinner reception, live entertainment, the awards ceremony itself, and a dessert reception to cap off the evening. TOTY winners across 12 categories will be revealed, as well as the overall “Toy of the Year” and the winner of the brand new “People’s Choice Award” based on consumer votes.
