ShopToyFair365 Platform Launches; TIA to Host Dec. 16th Webinar for Toy Fair Exhibitors

December 10, 2013 | The Toy Industry Association (TIA) is hosting a webinar on Monday, December 16th to provide American International Toy Fair exhibitors with important information about ShopToyFair365, a new e-commerce tool that enables retailers and exhibitors to connect and conduct business online before, during, and after Toy Fair.

As previously reported, ShopToyFair365 is a free platform for registered Toy Fair buyers and exhibiting companies powered by Balluun, a global leader in business-to-business technology. The innovative tool allows exhibitors to create an online showroom that includes their company profiles, contact information and product catalogues (including images, product descriptions, prices and availability). Buyers can browse or search these virtual showrooms from a mobile device or desktop computer prior to Toy Fair to hone in on products they want to see at the show. They can also “follow” companies, “like” their product offerings and place purchase orders year-round.

The one-hour “Introduction to ShopToyFair365” webinar on December 16th will provide exhibitors with step-by-step instructions for creating an online profile and virtual product showroom. The session will begin at 2 p.m. (Eastern); registration may be completed online.

Exhibitors that would like to explore the tool on their own may visit, create an account using the same email address used for Toy Fair registration, and simply follow the prompts. At any point, users may click the “?” icon on the navigation bar for assistance.

“ShopToyFair365 strengthens the relationships between toy buyers and sellers, streamlines business transactions and communications, and complements the face-to-face interactions that take place at the February show by way of an easy-to-use online platform,” said Marian Bossard, TIA vice president of meetings and events. “We encourage all Toy Fair exhibitors and buyers to take advantage of this invaluable business and networking tool!”

Questions about ShopToyFair365 may be directed to TIA’s Kimberly Carcone, senior director of trade show and event marketing (646-520-4869). Retailers will be able to access the platform beginning in January 2014; a separate announcement will follow.
