TIA Members Invited to Forums Hosted by Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation
August 28, 2013 | The Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation (MAPI) will be hosting two upcoming forums for manufacturers that will discuss the unique challenges posed by conflict minerals compliance and cyber security. Toy Industry Association (TIA) members interested in attending these conferences will receive the MAPI member registration discount.
- The Conflict Minerals Forum, to be held on October 9 at the Hilton Rosemont/Chicago O'Hare in Rosemont, IL will provide practical insights, peer-led case studies, and open roundtable discussions on the best practices companies are using to optimize their conflict minerals compliance efforts.
Any manufacturing executive with conflict minerals responsibility is invited to this one-day forum. Presentations will focus on all key requirements, such as RCOI processes, effective supply chain strategies, and Form SD/CMR preparation. TIA members will receive the discounted registration rate of $795 to attend this forum, which includes optional networking opportunities on Tuesday, October 8th and Wednesday, October 9th. - The Cyber Security Forum will be held on December 5 at the Hilton Rosemont/Chicago O'Hare in Rosemont, IL and will feature presentations from leading cyber security experts and senior manufacturing executives on cybersecurity challenges. This forum will help senior manufacturing executives recognize cybersecurity threats, build a cybersecurity infrastructure, and develop an effective corporate cybersecurity strategy. TIA members will receive the discounted registration rate of $795 to attend this forum.
