TIA to Host Toy Industry Leaders at ICTI Annual Meeting in Washington, DC
March 19, 2013 | The 39th Annual General Meeting of the International Council of Toy Industries (ICTI) will be hosted by the Toy Industry Association (TIA) from June 2-4, 2013 in Washington, DC.
The meeting will welcome worldwide representatives of national toy trade associations, who will gather to share individual country reports on priority issues and projects, as well as to discuss issues affecting the health and safety of children globally such as alignment of international toy safety standards, environmental sustainability and energy issues, the ICTI CARE Process and marketing to children. An overview of the world economy and the toy industry will also be presented.
“The ICTI Annual General Meeting presents an important opportunity for global toy associations to come together to review the priority issues affecting their members and to exchange ideas and tools that will benefit the future of the toy industry,” said Carter Keithley, TIA president. “TIA is pleased to host industry guests from around the world at the 2013 AGM.”
