The children and their loved ones gathered on the House terrace, where they played with brand new jungle-themed toys and games from The Toy Bank that were theirs to keep; crafted with stickers and scratch art; participated in a special art project led by mosaic pop artists; had their faces painted; and received balloon-twisted animals.

“Each year, TIF visits the Ronald McDonald House to create a special evening for these deserving kids and their families,” said Foundation Manager Marisa Medina. “Dealing with a childhood illness is extremely difficult, but with so many kids crafting, smiling, and celebrating childhood, you quickly lose sight of the struggle and appreciate the moment.”

Toys distributed at the event were donated to The Toy Bank by Educational Insights, Ganz, Hasbro, Inc., Learning Resources, Little Kids Inc., Mega Bloks, Melissa & Doug, P'kolino, Peaceable Kingdom, PlaSmart, Safari Ltd., Thinkfun, Toysmith, and Ty. Dinner was generously provided by Fairway Market; many volunteers, including the balloon twisters, face painters, the photographer, and the family of pop artist Michael Albert who led the art station, helped make the night magical for the families at the House.
