Toy Industry Foundation Launches “Show Your Love” Consumer Campaign
January 17, 2014 | With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, the Toy Industry Foundation (TIF) is inviting the general public to participate in TIF’s “Show Your Love” fundraising campaign in support of children in need.
“In addition to buying cards and candy for loved ones this Valentine’s Day, we are encouraging parents and children to ‘show their love’ for TIF by making a small online donation
,” said Marisa Medina, TIF manager. “This simple act of kindness will help keep the magic of play alive for children around the world who are living through some very tough times.”
Consumers that wish to participate may visit TIF’s Crowdrise fundraising page, click “Donate,” and contribute $10 or more, which will go towards running vital TIF initiatives, such as The Toy Bank. Participating families can also show their love by wearing pink or red on Valentine’s Day and sending a photo to TIF for sharing on Facebook and Twitter.
Toy companies that would like to help raise awareness about this campaign are invited to share TIF’s “Show Your Love” graphic across all social media.
