Toy Industry Foundation to Collect Toys at Time to Play Showcase in NYC

April 23, 2014 | On Thursday, May 1, the Toy Industry Foundation (TIF) will be collecting playthings donated by generous toy companies at the close of the Time to Play Magazine (TTPM) Spring & Summer Showcase in New York City.

As the official charity of the Showcase, TIF will collect hundreds of brand new outdoor toys, active games, and playthings based on summer blockbuster movies, to be distributed to the Richard M. Brodsky Foundation, one of the 1,000+ charities in TIF's Toy Bank network. The Richard M. Brodsky Foundation assists New York City-area children affected by brain cancer and HIV/AIDS.

“Impacting the lives of disadvantaged children can be as simple as donating your products at the end of a tradeshow or other industry event,” said Marisa Medina, Foundation Manager. “The playthings collected at the Time to Play Showcase will help bring the magic of play to children in need during the spring and summer months.”

Toy Bank volunteers will be on-site at the upcoming Showcase to collect toy donations. To explore having your industry event or exhibition benefit The Toy Bank, contact Foundation Manager Marisa Medina (646.454.5581).
