Canadian and U.K. Export Opportunities to be Explored in May Webinars

April 28, 2016 | Companies considering entering and expanding sales activity in Canada and the United Kingdom are encouraged to attend two upcoming webinars from the Toy Industry Association (TIA). Each will offer research findings on market demographics and trends, consumer behavior, kids’ routines, play and brand preferences, and entry strategies.

“As toy companies consider expanding their sales activities across international markets, Canada and the United Kingdom are looking more attractive,” said Anne McConnell, TIA’s senior director of market research & data strategy. “In addition to its proximity to the U.S., Canada is the world’s tenth-largest toy market, and the U.K. is the sixth-largest world economy as well as Europe’s largest toy market.”

Expanding the Global Toy Marketplace: What U.S. Companies Should Know About Entering Canada” will take place on Wednesday, May 18th at 2-3 pm Eastern. A webinar addressing the United Kingdom will be held Thursday, May 19th at 2-3 pm Eastern.

Alexis Martin, managing director and partner at Altios International, and Philippe Guinaudeau, CEO of Kidz Global, will present the webinars, which will be moderated by Anne McConnell.

Registration is now open for the Canada and U.K. webinars, which are free for TIA members and $49 for non-members.

Questions about these sessions or TIA’s vast array of educational services may be directed to TIA’s Anne McConnell.
