Media Exposure Opportunities for TIA Members

September 20, 2016 | Did you know that a big benefit to Toy Industry Association (TIA) member companies is the domestic and international media exposure they can gain for their products?

Promoting TIA members and their products in global trade publications and broadcast media segments is an important component of TIA’s year-round strategic communications activities.
Year-to-date, TIA’s marketing communications team has featured 65 companies and 80 unique products in dozens of bylined articles for trade publications, giving members fantastic exposure in front of global buyers and trade media. These articles have been featured in the United States and in international markets such as Germany, the UK, Japan, China and Australia.

Additionally, TIA’s trend experts have raised consumer awareness about the latest skill-building toys and games in broadcast TV segments in cities across the U.S., including Charlotte, Baltimore, San Francisco, and Salt Lake City.

TIA’s articles and broadcast segments focus on today’s hot toy trends like STEM/STEAM toys and games; cutting edge tech toys; 3D printed toys; toys that encourage family play; and playthings that teach kids to cook, design, grow or create inventions all by themselves.

“Sharing our members’ amazing products in articles, broadcast segments, and other promotional opportunities throughout the year is just one of the many benefits of TIA membership,” said Ken Seiter, TIA vice president of marketing communications. “We encourage our members to keep us in the loop about their latest products so that we can publicize their innovative toys – and promote the valuable impact their playthings have on the healthy development of children.”

Interested in being featured in upcoming editorial and broadcast opportunities? Email TIA with product and company news. Companies that will be exhibiting next week at Fall Toy Preview in Dallas are also encouraged to book a one-on-one product preview appointment with a member of the TIA trends team. Details about new toys and games will be collected and kept under embargo by TIA for use in broadcast and print/online media opportunities throughout the coming year. Contact Deanna Speziale to book an appointment.

Preference for all media exposure opportunities and preview appointments is given to TIA members.
