Reminder: Register for May’s Canadian and U.K. Export Webinars

May 12, 2016 | The Toy Industry Association (TIA) is reminding industry stakeholders to register for two upcoming webinars exploring business expansion opportunities in Canada and the United Kingdom, taking place May 18th and May 19th, respectively.

The webinars will be presented by Alexis Martin, managing director and partner at Altios International, and Philippe Guinaudeau, CEO of Kidz Global. Anne McConnell, TIA senior director of market research & data strategy, will moderate the discussions.

“Companies considering entering or expanding sales activity in Canada and/or the United Kingdom are encouraged to participate in these sessions,” said McConnell. “Each will offer options, obstacles and key success factors for expanding distribution into these influential and leading toy markets.  They will also provide insights into consumer behavior, kids routines, play patterns, digital use and brand preferences.”

Expanding the Global Toy Marketplace: What U.S. Companies Should Know about Entering Canada” will take place on Wednesday, May 18th from 2 to 3 pm (Eastern). The UK webinar will be held on Thursday, May 19th from 2 to 3 pm (Eastern).

Registration is now open for the Canada and U.K. webinars. These sessions are free for TIA members and $49 for non-members.
