TIA Unveils New Market Research for the United Kingdom and Canada

February 22, 2016 | Key research findings for the Canadian and United Kingdom markets were unveiled during  a series of educational seminars on February 14th at the 113th North American International Toy Fair in New York City. These reports are now available online for TIA members.

The complimentary members-only reports reflect in-depth research commissioned by TIA and developed by Kidz Global and Altios International to help small and mid-sized toy companies make informed decisions about establishing and expanding sales activities in these markets.

The Kidz Global reports analyze demographics, trends, cultural customs, consumer behavior and kids routines.  They profile children’s play patterns, brand preferences and digital access by age and gender.

“Companies considering global expansion need to ask themselves a critical question: Is this market the right fit for my product line?” said Anne McConnell, TIA’s senior director of market research and data strategy. “These new research reports describe potential business opportunities as well as challenges that companies may face in these markets in order to help our members develop successful strategies.”

Global consultancy Altios International then further assists companies in developing sound market expansion strategies. Its Canada and U.K. reports offer business intelligence on economic indicators, ideal target regions, audiences and retail channels, promotional opportunities, toy safety regulations and more.
