Learn How to Build a Winning Media Plan: Register for TIA’s Upcoming Webinar

March 20, 2017 | Toy professionals still have time to sign up for the Toy Industry Association’s (TIA) upcoming webinar, “Ad Spending: How to Build a Winning Media Plan in a Changing World,” that will take place on March 23 at 2 p.m. (Eastern).

“A quickly changing digital landscape means that toy manufacturers have a lot to consider when crafting a strong media plan,” says Anne McConnell, TIA’s senior director of market research & data strategy. “This webinar offers companies tips and tools for honing their advertising approach to reach the tech-savvy consumer.”

The hour-long session will provide toy manufacturers with insights into how to adapt their media strategies as consumer behavior changes with the advancement of technology. Presenters from Blue Plate Media Services, an associate member of TIA, will share digital and social media usage trends among kids and parents, and provide information on how to create a sound media plan, including budget considerations, identifying target audiences, timing/seasonality issues, and more. Participants will also get a glimpse into how marketing has moved beyond standard advertising and evolved into partnerships and collaborations in the form of sponsored content.

Presenters will include David Becker, president of Blue Plate Media Services, Tim Jones, media director at Blue Plate Media, and Jen Moloney, its associate digital director. The webinar is best suited for toy executives and staff responsible for advertising and marketing.

Registration for the webinar is still open. The webinar is free for TIA members and $49 for non-members. As with all TIA webinars, the session will be recorded and available post-event for those who are unable to participate live.
