Save the Date: TIA’s Toy Safety & Compliance Update at Toy Fair

January 17, 2017 | The Toy Industry Association (TIA) will host its annual Toy Safety & Compliance Update on the morning of Monday, February 20th at the 114th North American International Toy Fair. The free seminar will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Hall 1E at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. 

The always well-attended safety seminar will provide manufacturers, retailers, toy inventors, testing labs, and others within the toy industry with news and developments related to toy safety laws and regulations in the U.S. and abroad.

Presenters from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and TIA will highlight important changes in state, federal, and international toy safety requirements and explore emerging issues expected to impact the world of toys and games.

Topics will include:

  • A New Administration, A New Congress, Changes in Federal Agencies:  What it Might Mean for Toys, presented by TIA
