Don’t Miss Out: New Webinar on Emerging Markets for Toys

September 25, 2017 | Continuing to expand its rich educational offerings to the toy community, The Toy Association will be hosting a new webinar, “Analyzing the New Frontier Markets for Toys and Games,” on Thursday, October 19 at 2 p.m. (Eastern). Registration is now open.

The one-hour session will explore how geographic trends and demographic shifts in the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and Sub-Saharan Africa) markets will affect the toy industry over the next decade.

During the session, Matthew Hudak, Euromonitor International’s senior toys and games industry analyst, will share insight into these emerging markets, including the increasing activity in high-population areas like the sub-Saharan Africa and other countries that are reaching critical levels of household income like India. The presentation aims to encourage toy companies to consider the future of toys and games from the perspective of these countries and where business opportunities lie in these markets. The webinar will be moderated by Anne McConnell, The Toy Association’s senior director of market research & data strategy.

All Toy Association members and industry stakeholders are invited to participate. The webinar is free for members; $49 for non-members. As always, a recording of the session will be made available for members who register but are unable to participate live.
