Contribute to a Good Cause: Join The Toy Foundation’s Leaders Circle to Help Kids in Need

August 6, 2018 | What could be more joyful to a child than playing a fun board game with friends, hugging a beloved stuffed animal, or intensely concentrating on a puzzle? All children deserve a chance to experience the magic of play but not every kid has access to enriching toys and games. The Toy Foundation (TTF) is asking toy industry professionals to join TTF’s Leaders Circle, a year-round program for individuals dedicated to making play possible for children dealing with adverse situations.

With a minimum cash donation of $250, toy professionals can support the Foundation’s core programs and partnerships – including Play Your Part events and other crucial toy drives throughout the year that benefit disadvantaged children throughout the U.S and globally. Ninety-seven cents of every dollar received directly funds TTF programs, including giving donated toys to kids who are homeless, in foster care, or dealing with life-threatening illnesses, as well as grant funding to community charities around the world.

By becoming a Leaders Circle member, participants will be:

  • Listed on the Foundation’s website, in its Annual Report, and in the Toy of the Year Awards Tribute Book
  • Receive periodic updates demonstrating the difference their support makes for kids in need; and
  • Gifted a special Leaders Circle pin keepsake to wear proudly to spread awareness of their commitment to kids and the Foundation.

In addition, high-level Leaders Circle members will be invited to join the Foundation at special toy giveaways and other events, based on their location.

Become a member of the Leaders Circle by choosing a sponsorship level from Silver ($250 to $499) to Diamond ($2,500+) to provide hundreds or even thousands of kids with their very own toy or game. View the current Leaders Circle membership list.

Toy professionals can donate now or contact Jeffrey Kolsch, development manager at The Toy Foundation, to learn more about the Leaders Circle. All donations are tax deductible.
