Hottest Trends of 2018 to be Unveiled at Toy Fair

January 30, 2018 | Mark your calendar for The Toy Association’s “Toy Trends Briefing,” taking place on Sunday, February 18 at the North American International Toy Fair.

During the briefing, the Association’s team of trend experts will unveil 2018’s hottest toy and game trends, highlighting the latest developments in play with demos and product examples directly from the show floor.

“If you’re eager to know which trends are projected to drive toy sales through Holiday ’18, this is a not-to-be-missed opportunity,” says Adrienne Appell, the Association’s leading trends specialist. “While I can’t give away the big trends just yet, I can say that this year’s trends will include toys that harken back to a simpler time, toys that teach kids about the world around them, and innovations in the toy space.”

Throughout the year, The Toy Association’s trends team meets with hundreds of companies and attends events and conferences to scout new product, societal trends, and emerging play patterns. The “Toy Trends Briefing” at Toy Fair represents the culmination of this work and highlights the various factors that are expected to influence toy and game purchases in the months ahead.

Free and open to all Toy Fair attendees (and specifically recommended for buyers and media), the “Toy Trends Briefing” will take place at 4 p.m. in Room 1E09 of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. More information about the seminar and the full range of Knowledge Network sessions taking place at Toy Fair can be found at www.ToyFairNY.com.

The 115th North American International Toy Fair will take place February 17 to 20, 2018 in New York City.
