Register Now: Webinar on How Toy Companies Can Build Strong Media Advertising Plans

April 24, 2018 | The Toy Association will hold a special webinar on May 17 at 2 p.m. (Eastern) to provide toy companies with an overview of the U.S. media market for kids and the key factors impacting media plan development. Registration is now open to all toy professionals. 

The one-hour session, “From Media 101 to Media MBA: An Overview of the U.S. Media Landscape & How Toy Companies Can Build Strong Media Advertising Plans,” will be presented by David Becker, president of Blue Plate Media Services, and Tim Jones, Blue Plate’s media director, who will share how to build an effective media plan and trend information related to the overall media landscape.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • Media usage trends impacting the toy market;
  • Best practices for media planning and buying;
  • Building an appropriate media mix;
  • The impact of population on media plan delivery;
  • How media is bought across consumer platforms;
  • Media spending as related to toys and games; and
  • Where kids’ targeted media is heading in 2018 and beyond.

The sessions are free for Toy Association members; non-members will be charged a $49 fee for participation. The session is recommended for those responsible for advertising and marketing strategies.
