REMINDER: The Toy Association’s AGM to Take Place at Toy Fair

February 12, 2018 | Attendees of the 115th North American International Toy Fair are reminded to come to The Toy Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), taking place from 8 to 9 a.m. on Monday, February 19.

The Annual General Meeting is held on-site at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Room 1E09. It will include a review of the Association’s 2017 activities and fiscal performance, and goals for the coming year.

During the meeting attendees will see a new Toy Association chair elected as David Hargreaves of Hasbro, Inc. passes the chairmanship gavel. Toy Association members will also vote to elect five toy industry representatives to the Board of Directors for the first time and re-elect seven directors. The meeting is free and open to both members and non-members of the Association. A light breakfast will be served.

“The AGM is an important membership responsibility to vote on those who will represent the industry on the next Board of Directors and to learn more about the current health and future direction of your Association,” says Steve Pasierb, The Toy Association’s president & CEO. “The Board and staff alike have a mandate to protect and promote our members’ interests and make certain the organization fulfills its mission. I encourage all Toy Fair attendees to attend the meeting, ask questions of our leadership team and connect with your fellow members.”

Toy Fair will take place February 17 to 20 in New York City. Information about the show’s educational seminars, activities, and other happenings can be found at www.ToyFairNY.com.
