The Toy Association Updates Global Research on Brazil and China

September 11, 2018 | The Toy Association has published brand-new commissioned research to help companies considering expansion to Brazil and China. The reports are free to Toy Association members and available online.

“We are pleased to offer these updated reports on Brazil and China as part of our commitment to helping members assess new opportunities in foreign markets,” said Ed Desmond, executive vice president of external affairs at The Toy Association. “The new research includes relevant data to help companies determine whether the countries are a good fit for their products and business.”

Prepared by international consultancy firm Kidz Global, the reports update data on Brazil and China first published by The Toy Association in 2013. The research addresses consumer behavior in each country, including 2017 holiday shopping trends, superhero favorites, and kids’ preferences for collectibles. In the coming weeks and months, The Toy Association will publish additional research from Kidz Global that focuses on kids’ pocket money spending, brand trends, youth digital preferences, and their daily routines in each country, as well as additional market entry research focusing on each country’s demographics, business environment, and overall expansion opportunities. Topline findings from the reports will be presented at the 116th North American International Toy Fair in February.

The latest reports build upon The Toy Association’s growing collection of in-depth global market research. Earlier this year, The Toy Association and Kidz Global presented findings from reports on consumer behavior and market opportunities in France and Germany during two sessions at New York Toy Fair.
