Don’t Forget to Explore the FutureCast Gallery at Toy Fair Dallas

futurecast-gallery-toy-fair-dallasSeptember 30, 2019 | New to Toy Fair Dallas this year, the FutureCast Gallery is a not-to-miss stop for buyers and show attendees seeking out new ideas shaping retail and how consumers shop.

The experiential museum-like presentation of product focuses on natural retail discovery, offering buyers another way to shop the show and vendors a new way to get their products noticed by key retailers.

The show space highlights 10 distinct themes that retailers can explore and execute post-show as they map out their own planograms for 2020. Featured categories include: Animal of the Year; The Olympic Effect; Radical Sustainability; Doctor, Lawyer, Engineer, Creative; Beauty Videos & Make-Up; Grandparent-Friendly; The Spirit of Collaboration; STEM; Preschool Magic; and Innovation on Wheels.

"The FutureCast Gallery answers the calls of retailers, serving as both a differentiator as well as a key meeting place to explore and discuss the ideas predicted to shape retail and consumer shopping in the year to come," said Marian Bossard, executive vice president of global market events at The Toy Association. "The new centralized space, located on the well-trafficked 13th floor, also offers a unique opportunity for the chosen brands and vendors that may have otherwise not gotten the face time they sought."

Kid@Heart founder and guest curator Steve Starobinsky will delve further into his global travels, store explorations, fashion discoveries, and more that spawned the creation of the 10 categories during an Influencer Breakfast on Thursday at 9 a.m. Starobinsky will also detail the ways in which retailers can utilize these finding and how the top toys selected reflect the presented themes.

Throughout the show, the space will also host other key events, including an ice cream social and educational sessions on STEM/STEAM insights and doing business in China.
