How Do Your Company’s Financials Compare to The Competition?

toy industry financial surveyNovember 21, 2019 | The Toy Association today announced the completion of its 2019 Toy Industry Financial & Operating Benchmark Survey, the results of which will help toy companies compare their financial and operating costs to industry peers. Customized confidential reports are now available to participating companies free of charge. The aggregated report is also available for purchase to non-participating members.

The confidential survey collected financial and operations data from 48 member companies engaged in toy manufacturing, importing, and distribution. Industry Insights collected and evaluated the data on behalf of The Toy Association. The aggregate report includes industry totals and eight-year trends from 2011 through 2018, cross sections of data (i.e. total revenue, FTE employees, region, etc.), and more.

“In today’s toy industry, it’s important to track how your company’s financial results stack up to your industry peers, so that you can stay competitive and better monitor key indicators for your business,” said Anne McConnell, The Toy Association’s senior director of market research & data strategy.

Manufacturer members that participated received confidential hard copies of survey results and an individual company performance report. Participants were also given access to an exclusive online portal with additional online reporting tools. Companies that did not participate may purchase the report for $1,500 by contacting Bernadette Boyle, director of member services at The Toy Association.
