Register Now: New Webinar to Discuss Amazon’s Brand Registry

March 12, 2019 | Toy industry professionals who are looking to learn more about how to combat counterfeit toys on Amazon should register for The Toy Association’s upcoming webinar, “Amazon Brand Registry: Everything You Need to Know.” The session will take place on Thursday, April 11 at 2 p.m. (Eastern); registration is now open. All toy industry stakeholders are invited to participate; the session is specifically recommended for professionals involved in intellectual property and brand protection.

Amazon has developed several tools, including “Brand Registry” and “Automated Brand Protections,” to assist companies in identifying counterfeit and IP infringing products. The one-hour session, presented by Crystal Mattison, account executive in charge of Amazon Brand Registry and Protection, will walk participants through the Brand Registry tool and educate toy brand owners on how the initiative gives brands more accurate representation on Amazon, search tools available to target infringement, and proactive brand protection solutions.

“Combating online counterfeits can seem like a daunting task for toy companies of all sizes,” said Rebecca Mond, vice president of federal government affairs at The Toy Association and session moderator. “Toy companies that want to begin to learn how to better protect their brands on Amazon’s marketplace are highly encouraged to attend this session.”

More information about Amazon Brand Registry is available online.

The webinar is free for Toy Association members to attend; non-members will be charged $49. A recording of the session will be made available for those who are unable to participate live.
