Take Advantage of All Toy Fair Dallas Has to Offer

September 17, 2019 | There’s still time to register for The Toy Association’s Toy Fair Dallas, taking place October 2 to 4, and capitalize on all the resources the marketplace can offer.

For exhibitors, Toy Fair Dallas offers the opportunity to engage with multiple buyers under one roof and gain crucial feedback on product and lines still in development. The show continues to serve as an essential stop on the global toy-buying circuit for hundreds of mass, long-lead, and specialty buyers including Walmart, Amazon, AAFES, Target, Learning Express, Barnes & Noble, and more .

“Toy Fair Dallas continues to find new ways to service show attendees to best meet their needs, whether they are scoping out the next big toy trends for 2020, get product in front of key decision-makers, or learn new ways to evolve their businesses with the changing retail landscape,” said Kimberly Carcone, vice president of market events, The Toy Association.

This year welcomes 18 social media influencers on October 3, who will be scouting products to promote to their dedicated fans and followers. These trend-spotters will tour the show floor following an Influencer Breakfast hosted by KID@HEART Steve Starobinsky in the FutureCast Gallery, a new experiential initiative that provides retailers with a fresh approach to shopping the show. These new activities are in addition to The Toy Association’s trend team, which is booking appointments throughout the show to determine hot toy trends for 2020, which it will incorporate into media messaging through the year.

Education sessions and other events before and during the show round out the three-day event, presenting more opportunities than ever to show attendees to network, forge business connections, or learn new ways to advance products and their play value. On October 1, WIT Empowerment Day will again open the doors to women entrepreneurs to connect and pitch their product to Walmart buyers and top toy companies including Hasbro, Spin Master, PlayMonster, and others. The Toy Association will host the show’s Opening Night Party on October 2, followed by the Young Professionals Network Mixer + Art Gallery event. You can find the full schedule of events on the Toy Fair Dallas website or by downloading the event’s free mobile app (available for iOS and Android devices) to plan ahead.
