2020 Toy Fair Credit Meeting to Tackle Evolving State of Retail

January 13, 2020 | The Toy Association will host the annual Toy Fair Credit Meeting on Monday, February 24, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at its headquarters in New York City. The event will offer business insights, networking opportunities, and important trade information to industry finance, credit, and operations professionals.

Held in conjunction with Toy Fair New York, taking place February 21 to 25 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, the Credit Meeting is open exclusively to Toy Association member manufacturers and distributors. Registration is open to qualifying members through February 17.

Highlights of the 2020 program include:

  • Presentations by Ideoclick addressing Amazon operational compliance fees, a credit risk analysis for key retail accounts by RiemerPlus/Pulse Ratings, updates on new beneficial provisions in the Small Business Reorganization Act of 2019 by Ice Miller LLC, Incoterms 2020, and recent customs and international trade developments by GDLSK LLC

  • Review of Accounts that evaluates customer creditworthiness

  • A Workshop for credit managers exploring the challenges of the current credit and collection environment

  • A Roundtable for senior finance and operations executives discussing pressing issues facing toy companies
