Reminder: Give Your Toys the Gift of an Official ‘STEAM Stamp of Approval’

September 13, 2021 | Make sure your toys are evaluated for an official “STEAM Stamp of Approval” to stand out on shelves heading into the 2021 holiday season.

“The first officially accredited toys have already begun to roll out with toy lines from ARCkit earning our official seal,” said Anna Yudina, senior director of marketing initiatives at The Toy Association. “We encourage all toymakers to join them in taking advantage of this opportunity that gives families added assurance that the products they are purchasing for their children are packed with the educational value they are looking for.”

Toy companies and brands involved in the manufacture, design, and marketing of children’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) products are invited to have them officially evaluated and certified as part of The Toy Association’s new STEAM Accreditation program, developed in collaboration with the Good Play Guide™. Those who apply by September 30 will get 10 percent off accreditation fees on submissions of two or more products. Toy Association membership is not required.

Accredited toys will go on to receive the official “STEAM Stamp of Approval” for use in marketing campaigns, product packaging and listings, and all other digital and traditional marketing platforms.

Want to learn more about this exciting new program and more benefits? Interested toy professionals can attend the upcoming The Toy Association webinar, “New STEAM Accreditation Program: Make Your Product Stand Out,” taking place this Wednesday, September 15 at 2 p.m. (Eastern).
