New Webinar: NPD to Examine Impact of Subscription Video on Demand on Toy Sales

February 15, 2021 | Learn how content on subscription video on demand (SVOD) services can help drive toy sales in The Toy Association’s upcoming webinar, “SVOD + Toy Merchandising: The NPD Group Shares New Opportunities to Grow Your Audience.”

Taking place Thursday, March 11 at 2 p.m. (Eastern), this 45-minute session will look at the proliferation of SVOD services (such as Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc.) and the impact original and/or licensed content has on toy and other merchandise category sales, based on key findings from a variety of NPD services. It will also provide case studies on where SVOD content may have helped lift, sustain, and/or increase sales across toy and other consumer product categories.

The NPD Group’s John Buffone, executive director & industry analyst, will present. The Toy Association’s Anne McConnell, senior director of market research & data strategy, will moderate.

The webinar is open to all toy professionals; though it is specifically recommended for those involved in the development of marketing, brand/franchise management, and advertising initiatives as well as those responsible for content creation or digital content distribution.
