7th Annual DC Fly-In

DATE

September 16-18, 2014
Washington, D.C.

EVENT DESCRIPTION

This fall, representatives of small, mid-size and large toy companies are invited to come to the nation’s capital to attend the Toy Industry Association’s (TIA) 7th Annual Washington, D.C. Fly-In. During the Fly-In, TIA staff will lead fly-in participants on meetings with Members of Congress and senior government officials where you can discuss you company and products and help raise awareness about the toy industry. Coming together in Washington for TIA’s Annual Fly-In is an effective way our industry to be involved as Congress considers legislation that will impact your company.

Please join us and other industry representatives, including TIA’s Board of Directors, as participants in this September’s Fly-In. Registration and participation in all Fly-In events is free; attendees are responsible for their own travel and lodging (see below for special discounts on lodging).

Highlights from this year’s agenda include:
  • An opening “United We Play” reception on Capitol Hill, hosted by TIA and the Toy Industry Foundation;
  • Meetings with Members of Congress and staff;
  • Meetings with senior government officials;
  • Cocktail reception and dinner with guest speaker; and
  • An important workshop at the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
