EVENT DESCRIPTION

In Washington DC, your company faces significant uncertainty and risk – as well as opportunities – with proposals being considered by the new administration and Congress, such as corporate tax reform, U.S. trade policy, and regulatory reform. Accordingly, TIA is inviting its members to its 9th Annual Washington, DC Fly-In, taking place May 9-10, 2017. At this critical event, toymakers will meet with policymakers and their staffs to educate and inform them about the toy industry – including the industry’s positive economic and societal impact, as well as top legislative issues posing potential threats to toy companies of all sizes. All TIA members are urged to join TIA’s board of directors and your colleagues from other TIA companies at the Fly-In this spring.

The Fly-In will open at approximately 3pm on May 9th with Congressional and other meetings, followed by a TIA-hosted dinner for all participants. Additional meetings with policymakers and their staffs will be held throughout the day on May 10th, ending in mid-afternoon. TIA will schedule all meetings and provide transportation to and from the activities. A preliminary agenda will be sent to registrants in the coming weeks.
