TIA works to provide its members with data and insight to help them penetrate new markets. TIA worked with The NPD Group and the International Council of Toy Industries (ICTI) to provide overall global toy sales and growth data. TIA also commissioned international consultancies Kidz Global and Altios International to gather data that would assist TIA members looking to expand to specific markets.

For both the global report and each of the countries below, the reports offer market research to help companies understand how to best position their product lines, and business intelligence to support strategic market entry. Included in the country-specific consumer research is detailed information on kids' weekly activities and brand preferences.

The 2016 NPD/ICTI Global Toy Market Report provides analysis to help toy companies address global toy market opportunities.
