Reserve Your Ticket for the 2018 Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards

Tickets are now available for the 18th Annual Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards ceremony. The Toy Association’s prestigious gala honoring the industry’s top toys, games, and licenses in the marketplace is taking place on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City. Proceeds from TOTY tickets will benefit the Toy Industry Foundation (TIF), which donates toys to children in need.

Toy Industry to Induct Three Outstanding Individuals into Esteemed Hall of Fame

The Toy Association announced today that it will induct Andrea Barthello, co-founder and COO of ThinkFun Inc., Stan Lee, former editor-in-chief, publisher, and chairman of Marvel Comics, and the late James R. Becker, founder of licensing company Anjar Co., into the esteemed Toy Industry Hall of Fame.

Second Annual Play Fair Returns to New York City

Play Fair, the public celebration of play and entertainment for all ages, returned to New York City on Saturday, November 4 and Sunday, November 5. Hosted by The Toy Association in partnership with LeftField Media, the immersive, experience-rich event expanded both in size and in on-site entertainment, providing more than 20,000 children, parents, families, and fans with a first look at the toys and games expected to top wishlists this holiday season.

President’s Letter – 2nd Annual Play Fair Delivers Brand-Building Fun for Families & Toy Fans

Steve Pasierb, The Toy Association’s president & CEO, shares with members the success of the second annual Play Fair, the Association’s dedicated business-to-consumer event designed to help members further build their brands by connecting directly with kids and parents. The event was held November 4 to 5 at the Javits Center in New York City, and expanded to more than 230,000 square feet of space – three times its previous size – bringing together toy and play fans of all ages under one roof for countless memorable experiences with their favorite toys and brands.

Fall Toy Preview Exhibitors: Register Now to Secure a Spot for 2018

Registration is open to secure a spot at Fall Toy Preview 2018, taking place October 2 to 4, 2018 in Dallas, TX. Returning exhibitors that participated in this year’s show have until December 31 to submit their application to be included in the first round of space assignments.
