Last Chance to Donate to 2016 Summer Toy Drive

August 22, 2016 | It’s your last chance to participate in the Toy Industry Foundation’s (TIF) biggest toy collection of the year – the 2016 Summer Toy Drive. Open through September 5, the drive is collecting new toys and games for kids who are sick, neglected, in foster care, living on U.S. military bases or experiencing other hardships.

Since kicking off early this summer, the drive has collected $1 million in brand-new toys for 65,000 children in need. TIF hopes to triple the drive’s impact by the end of the season, bringing toys to 200,000 kids from coast-to-coast.

Toy manufacturers, retailers, distributors and importers may donate excess inventory of arts & crafts, plush, outdoor toys, musical toys, board games, books, DVDs and other toy and youth entertainment items to TIF’s Toy Bank.

Simply complete the product donation form and send it to Elizabeth Max (emax@toyindustryfoundation.org). The Foundation can coordinate free pick-ups in many cases.

TIF recognizes all donors on the TIF website and through social media. Donors may also receive a supporter badge to place on their own website.
