‘The E-Commerce Toy Story’ to be Told in August 11 Webinar

July 18, 2016 | Industry stakeholders interested in learning about what drives consumers to shop online for toys are encouraged to attend “Online Toy Buyers: The E-Commerce Toy Story – From Millennial Parents To Successful Licensing,” an August 11th webinar hosted by the Toy Industry Association’s (TIA) Knowledge Network.

Taking place from 2 to 3 p.m. (Eastern), the presentation will be led by Ken Cassar, principal analyst at Slice Intelligence, a research firm specializing in digital commerce activity and customer loyalty. Cassar will discuss the digital buying patterns of millennials and baby boomers, as well as buying occasions of interest. He will also take a deep dive into licensing’s influence on toy buying.

“This webinar is ideal for manufacturers and retailers preparing for the all-important fourth quarter. We will discuss the power of millennial shoppers and how their spending frequency and merchant preferences differ from boomers,” said Anne McConnell, TIA’s senior director of market research & data strategy, who will moderate the session. “Additionally, the presentation will shed light on online trends that are expected to impact future opportunities in the toy marketplace.”

Registration is now open for the session. The webinar is free for TIA members and $49 for non-members.

Questions about this session or TIA’s vast array of educational services may be directed to TIA’s Anne McConnell.
