Toy Association President Reflects on Year of Achievement for Toy Community

January 9, 2018 | In his first President’s Letter of 2018, Steve Pasierb, president & chief executive, reflects on a year of continued achievement for Toy Association members and the business of toys.

Throughout 2017, significant progress was made across every department area – from External Affairs and Meetings & Events, to Membership and Marketing Communications. The Association successfully influenced harmful and unnecessary policies and regulations at the state, federal and international levels; grew its go-to-market and business-to-consumer events to help “more members sell more product more often;” strengthened initiatives to educate parents and caregivers on the well-researched benefits of play and the utmost safety of toys; fostered key partnerships; invested in new research and tools to help propel member growth; and much more.
