Special Toys“R”Us Bankruptcy Call to Take Place March 21

March 20, 2018 | A special call to provide Toy Association members with updates and guidance on the Toys“R”Us bankruptcy is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 21 at 4 p.m. (Eastern).

The 90-minute session, which is free for all members, will shed light on the current status of the bankruptcy case and what unsecured creditors should do next. The call will also provide members with the opportunity to participate in a Q&A with the presenters.

Paul Vitale, executive vice president of finance and operations at The Toy Association, will moderate the webinar alongside Rick Locker, the Association’s legal counsel. Jason Torf, a bankruptcy attorney with Horwood Marcus & Berk and a representative of several unsecured creditors in the Toys“R”Us case, will also share his perspective on the issue. Kramer Levin, legal counsel engaged by the bankruptcy court’s approved Unsecured Creditor’s Committee, has been invited to present, although their participation has yet to be confirmed.

Companies can participate in the call by registering in advance on The Toy Association’s website.

This is the third in a series of Toys“R”Us-related sessions presented by The Toy Association since the retailer filed for bankruptcy last fall. The webinars, as well as additional information, can be accessed on The Toy Association’s Toys“R”Us Bankruptcy Information resource page.
