Are You Maximizing Your Brand Exposure? Participate in Upcoming Jr. Con Events

March 18, 2019 | Looking for a way to amplify exposure of your brand and products? Companies still have time to participate in The Toy Association and LeftField Media’s upcoming Awesome Con Jr. consumer event, taking place April 26 to 28, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC.

Nearly a dozen toy and youth entertainment companies including DreamWorks, Safari Ltd., Peaceable Kingdom, HogWild, and others will be participating in Awesome Con Jr. (part of the larger Awesome Con pop culture fan experience) to bring kids and families beloved character meet-and-greets, tons of hands-on activations, and an entire stage dedicated to kids programming throughout the weekend.

Can’t make it to Awesome Con Jr.? The Toy Association and LeftField Media are hosting two additional Jr. Con events later this year:

  • Big Easy Con Jr. (a part of Big Easy Con) at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA, May 31 to June 1; and
  • Rose City Jr. (a part of Rose City Comic Con) at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, OR, September 13 to 15.

“B2C events are a valuable addition to any marketing strategy where the driving force is to engage consumers – and potentially make new customers,” said Marian Bossard, executive vice president of global market events at The Toy Association. “Through these three regional events, toy companies can reach more than 30,000 families and over 160,000 fans to deliver a positive message about toys – and the importance of play. There is still time to join us for a fun-filled weekend in Washington, DC as well as in New Orleans and Portland later this year.”

Companies interested in learning more about the benefits of participating in a B2C event still have time to register for The Toy Association and LeftField Media’s free webinar, “Why Your Company Should Participate in a Consumer-Facing Event,” taking place on Thursday, March 21 at 2 p.m. Eastern.

“If you are still deciding whether a B2C event fits with your brand and products, then this webinar is for you. We encourage all Toy Association members and non-member toy companies to attend,” added Bossard.

A recording of the session will be made available for those who are unable to participate live. For questions about this webinar, please contact Anne McConnell, senior director of market research and data strategy at The Toy Association.
