Canadian Toy Association to Hold Annual General Meeting on June 20
May 28, 2019 | The Canadian Toy Association (CTA) will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, June 20 in Toronto, Ontario. The meeting is open to toy professionals in the Canadian toy industry, including CTA members and Toy Association members with operations in Canada.
During the meeting, CTA board and committee chairs will provide updates on the Association’s activities over the past year and the outlook for 2020. With the theme, “The Future of Online Sales & Marketing in the Toy Industry,” the meeting will also feature speakers from Amazon Canada, The NPD Group, and Corus Entertainment, who will address opportunities and challenges of marketing and selling toys online. Following the meeting, participants are invited to a networking reception.
The Annual General Meeting is open to all members. Online registration is required for the speaker presentations and the networking reception. The registration fee for CTA and Toy Association members who would like to attend the speaker presentations and reception is $100; the cost to non-members is $150 per ticket. (CTA is offering a 10 percent discount for five or more tickets.) Retailers interested in attending the presentations and reception will receive complimentary access.
