Influencer Platforms, Kids’ Habits Explored in Toy Association Webinar

October 25, 2019 | Toy professionals who want to take a closer look at how kids are engaging with key influencers are encouraged to join The Toy Association’s upcoming webinar, "Children & Influencer Platforms: New Research from The NPD Group."

Taking place Thursday, November 21 at 2 p.m. (Eastern), this one-hour session will share key findings from the latest NPD Group report, commissioned by The Toy Association, to address how children are using and engaging with platforms such as YouTube/YouTube Kids, Facebook, and Instagram. The webinar will look at kids’ habits, preferred content types, engagement with key influencers/channels, and the impact their viewing habits have on buying decisions.

Juli Lennett, vice president and industry advisor, U.S. Toys of The NPD Group, will lead the discussion on the role of influencer platforms in children’s entertainment experiences and the subsequent impact on toy purchasing habits. The session will also look at case studies based on key influencers/channels to reveal how varying content strategies are used to engage different audiences. The Toy Association’s Anne McConnell will moderate.
