Toy Fair Creative Factor Session: Think Outside the Box When it Comes to Distribution

February 11, 2019 | The traditional way of getting products to market demands time, money, and, often, relinquishing a degree of control and revenue, which is a daunting task for many toy companies. However, some creative thinkers have bucked the traditional route either by doing it themselves or finding an unusual marketplace tactic.

In the Toy Fair session, “The Road Not Taken,” Billy Langsworthy, founder of MoJo Nation in the U.K., and a member of the new Creative Factor Advisory Board, will moderate a panel of experts who will offer alternative and innovative solutions for product distribution. The one-hour session will take place Sunday, February 17 at 11 a.m. in Hall 1D Lobby and is part of an expanded Creative Factor educational series.

"For 15 years, Creative Factor programming has fostered the growth of the inventor and designer community by providing actionable tips to help them get their products from design to store shelves,” said Marian Bossard, executive vice president of global market events at The Toy Association. “Thinking outside the box when it comes to distribution may be the decision that makes all the difference in reaching consumers and ultimately developing a successful product.”

All Toy Fair registrants are welcome to participate in Creative Factor’s full schedule of roundtables, presentations, workshops, and panels focused on the interests and goals of inventors, designers, and others in the creative community. Sessions will be held throughout the four days in the Creative Factor Theater (Hall 1D Lobby).

Toy Fair New York will take place February 16 to 19 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Visit ToyFairNY.com or download the free Toy Fair app on Apple iTunes or Google Play for the full list of Creative Factor programming and other informative educational sessions taking place only at Toy Fair.
