Unique Opportunities to Highlight Your Toys at Toy Fair Dallas

August 19, 2019 | The Toy Association is reminding toy companies of two unique opportunities to highlight their brand-new toys and product lines in front of retail buyers, trend-spotters, and influencers attending this year’s Toy Fair Dallas:

  • Display Your Innovative Toys in the All-New FutureCast Gallery
The deadline to submit products for consideration in the FutureCast Gallery has been extended to August 31. The FutureCast Gallery is a retail-driven, experiential initiative launched by The Toy Association, designed to highlight the industry’s best and brightest new toys and games in front of retail buyers and others exploring product at Toy Fair Dallas. Located in a highly visible and trafficked area on the 13th floor of the Dallas Market Center, the gallery will be guest-curated by Steve Starobinksy, founder of lifestyle brand KID@HEART and an expert in product discovery. He will select the top toys submitted across 10 different themes – from Radical Sustainability and Grandparent-Friendly, to The Olympic Effect and Animal of the Year – that spotlight the future of the industry.

FutureCast Gallery space is extremely limited. Only those products that exemplify the identified future themes will be considered. If your product is accepted, there is a $1,000 participation fee. For more information about the FutureCast Gallery, contact The Toy Association’s Laura Mangiaracina.

  • Opportunity for FREE Publicity – Meet With the Trends Team!
Have 15 minutes for a meeting with The Toy Association’s trends specialists in Dallas? The team will be on site scouting new playthings to determine hot toy trends for 2020. Book an appointment to showcase your key drivers for next year.

In the next few months, beginning at Toy Fair Dallas, the trends team will review thousands of products to establish the major trends and the latest developments in toys, play, and youth entertainment. These trends will be unveiled in February to media, buyers, and other industry professionals attending Toy Fair New York. Trends and related products are also used in the Association’s media messaging throughout the year, including TV segments, and trade and consumer articles.

Members of the team will be available to meet with companies Tuesday through Friday, October 1 to 4. Al
l product information gathered at the show is kept under embargo until Toy Fair New York. Preference is given to Toy Association members on a first-come, first-served basis. To schedule an appointment, contact Angela Stanton-Weekes.
