The initiative seeks to provide short-term relief in for small employers in the form of a four-part campaign that includes financial aid, resources and guidance, advocacy, and polling, as well as a call to action for the larger business community and government to help small businesses, according to a recent press release. With contributions from corporate and philanthropic partners, the Chamber plans to issue $5,000 grants to small employers in the U.S. and its territories.

The initiative is currently targeting businesses that have three to 20 employees, are in an economically vulnerable community, and have been financially harmed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
