Learn How to Apply the New STEAM Assessment Framework to Your Toys & Games (Webinar)

steam-assessment-webinarJanuary 4, 2021 | Toy professionals are invited to save the date for The Toy Association webinar, “Presenting the New STEAM Toy Assessment Framework,” taking place February 4 at 2 p.m. (Eastern). Registration is now open.

The one-hour session will provide an in-depth look at The Toy Association’s new STEAM toy assessment framework, which guides toy manufacturers on how to develop products that foster STEM/STEAM discovery and learning for kids. The webinar will discuss how the new framework can be used as a checklist for companies to assess if their toy can be considered a good quality STEAM toy and offer detailed information on how to develop toys and games that meet specific STEAM criteria, according to age.

The discussion will be led by Dr. Amanda Gummer, founder & CEO of Dr. Gummer’s Good Play Guide and play expert for The Genius of Play, who collaborated with The Toy Association to develop the framework. Janis Zegman, marketing project manager at The Toy Association, will moderate.

All toy professionals, specifically those responsible for product development, marketing, and advertising, are encouraged to attend. For more information, contact Bernadette Boyle, director of member services at The Toy Association.
