General Registration Opens for The Toy Association’s Preview & Holiday Market

June 3, 2022 | With toymakers already preparing to showcase their new and creative product lines to top retailers at the 2023 Preview & 2022 Holiday Market this fall, attendee and buyer registration for the much-anticipated trade show is now open.

Produced by The Toy Association, the marketplace is expected to draw influential mass, long-lead, and specialty buyers to the Dallas Market Center, where they can preview thousands of compelling toys and games debuting in 2023 and place orders on ready-to-ship items to close out a successful 2022 holiday season.

To date, buyers from 99 Cent Stores, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, BJ’s, Camp, Zulily, dd’s Discounts, Ollie’s, Target, IT'SUGAR, QVC, Walmart, and more have confirmed their participation, while hundreds of toymakers are expected to showcase their new and developing product lines in open, closed, or combination booths and showrooms.

“Serving as the first major in-person 2023 preview show for many in the toy community, the Preview & Holiday Market is expected to draw in a diverse audience of buyers, importers-distributors, wholesalers, and sales reps eager to tap into the show’s one-stop shop set-up for business, trend-spotting, and networking,” said Kimberly Carcone, senior vice president of global market events at The Toy Association.

Adding to the three-day events’ vast business opportunities, the Preview & Holiday Market will also serve as the setting for important industry events including The Toy Foundation’s Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards, which has shifted to a new fall timeline, and Women in Toys’ Empowerment Day.

The TOTY’s will take place on September 20 and will invite the play community to honor the most outstanding toys and brands on the marketplace and help fund the vital work of The Toy Foundation. All proceeds support the Foundation’s grant making to children’s hospitals and global relief organizations, strategic partnerships with local and national children’s nonprofits, and toy distributions. The new fall timing for the awards will also give companies the opportunity to promote their nominated products and brands during the critical holiday shopping season. Nominations are now open for toys, games, and licensed properties. More details can be found here.
