New Parental Insights on Screen Time that May Impact Toy Trends this Holiday – NEW WEBINAR

webinarJune 27, 2022 | Registration has opened for a new Toy Association webinar that will provide toy professionals with key findings on screen time and parental perceptions of how their kids should be using their time and focusing their attention.

In “The Evolution of Attention: Kids, Screens, and the Great Unplugging” webinar, taking place July 28 at 2 p.m. (Eastern), the consumer intelligence research firm CivicService will examine how the pandemic has impacted parents’ own relationships with their devices and what kind of trickle-down effect this may have on toy buying trends for the 2022 holiday season. It will look at how today’s parents view the activities, toys, and hobbies their children participate in and highlight overall trends in screen time behaviors among parents (sub-segmented by age of children and other factors) to understand where trends are headed.

The session will also help companies gain a better understanding of the emerging luddite movement for toys and hobby, which includes increasing interest in sustainable, natural toys as well as in vintage and retro toys and hobbies.

The webinar will be led by Casey Taylor, vice president of Client Development at CivicService, and moderated by Anne McConnell, senior director of market research & data strategy at The Toy Association.

Registration is free for Toy Association members and $49 for non-members. The session is open to manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors, and is specifically recommended for toy professionals responsible for development, sales, marketing, brand management, research, and advertising initiatives.

Questions about this webinar and other educational opportunities offered by The Toy Association may be directed to Anne McConnell.
